Wilson Alonzo Bruce was born on February 2, 1924, in Albemarle County, Virginia; he was the son of Alonzo Bruce (1893-1946) and Martha (Fortune) Bruce (1897-1961) of Esmont, Virginia.  Wilson married Sarah Bell Bryant on June 6, 1959, in Charlottesville, Virginia.  Wilson passed away on March 26, 1996, in Charlottesville, Virginia; he is buried at the Chestnut Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Esmont, Albemarle County, Virginia.
