William Leslie Harrison was born on July 26, 1914, in Scottsville, Virginia; he was the son of William Porter Harrison and Carrie Virginia (Harding) Harrison.  William married Rosemary Virginia Tapscott on August 28, 1947, in Scottsville, Virginia.  William passed away on March 5, 1988, in Richmond, Virginia, and is buried in Scottsville Cemetery.
