Robert Wilson was born October 13, 1925, in Charlottesville, Virginia; he was the son of John Randolph Coleman (1883-1962) and Nellie Gray (Thompson) Coleman (1885-1975).  Robert married Frances Vernell Holt on January 1, 1948, in Charlottesville, Virginia.  Robert passed away on February 27, 2008, in Charlottesville, Virginia, and is buried at Scottsville Cemetery in Scottsville, Virginia.
