Robert Lee Johnson was born July 7, 1920, in Fluvanna County, Virginia; he was the son of Samuel L. Johnson and Lula (Carroll) Johnson.  Robert married Martha Daniel Marsh on October 20, 1943, in Charlottesville, Virginia.  Robert passed away on February 28, 2001, in Charlottesville, Virginia, and is buried in Scottsville Cemetery, Scottsville, Virginia.
