Nelson "Elson" Charles Morris, was born January 27, 1923, in Albemarle County, Virginia; he was the son of Everett Morris and Edna Blanche (Smith) Morris.  After his WW II service ended, Elson married Virgie Irene Maupin of North Garden, Albemarle County, Virginia, on June 18, 1946.  Elson passed away on November 15, 1993, in Albemarle County, Virginia, and is buried at Scottsville Cemetery in Scottsville, Virginia.
