Lewis Edward Rhodes was born on January 29, 1926, in Scottsville, Albemarle County, Virginia; he was the son of Harry Owen Rhodes and Helen Catherine (Marr) Rhodes.  Lewis married Myrtle LaVene Johnson in Albemarle County, Virginia.  Lewis Edward Rhodes passed away on December 24, 2001, in Scottsville, Virginia.
