James Taylor Morris was born on October 08, 1913, in Scottsville District, Albemarle County, Virginia; he was the son of John Lacy Morris, Sr., and Daisy Holmes (Callaham) Morris who lived on a farm near Esmont, Albemarle County, VA.   Taylor married Mary Jane Montanus on 27 April 1943 in Lynchburg, VA.   Taylor passed away on 24 May 1997 in Lynchburg, VA.
