John Archie Jackson was born on December 5 1922, in Albemarle County, Virginia; he was the son of John Henry Jackson and Queen (Carey) Jackson of Esmont, Virginia.  On June 10, 1948, John married Irene Kate Chambers in Albemarle County, Virginia.  John passed away on August 20, 1987, in Charlottesville, Virginia, and is buried at the New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery in Esmont, Virginia.
