Claude Stinson Napier was born on March 8, 1920, in Albemarle County, Virginia; he was the son of Jackson Napier and Ida Gertrude (Duncan) Napier.  Claude married Anna Virginia Moon on January 1, 1945, in Charlottesville, Virginia.  Claude passed away on February 26, 1979, in Spotsylvania, Virginia, and is buried at Scottsville Cemetery in Scottsville, Virginia.
