Luther Edward Baber was born on February 10, 1921, in Hatton, Virginia; he was the son of Luther Linwood Baber and Sally Flora (Agee) Baber.  On April 5, 1946, Luther married Lorraine Armstrong Davis in Scottsville, Virginia.  Luther passed away on April 6, 1992, in Albemarle County, Virginia and is buried at Scottsvile Cemetery in Scottsville, Virginia.
