Comments:  This wonderful Burgess photo brought together four generations of the Pitts family:   Jonathan Pitts (1822-1920), Captain John L. Pitts (1863-1924), Clara (Pitts) Dorrier (1889-1951), and Charles Richard Dorrier, Jr. (1913-1985).

This photograph is part of the Kathleen (Phillips) McNamara collection.  Kathleen resides in Scottsville and is the granddaughter of Captain John Lee Pitts and Helen Amanda (Burgess) Pitts.
