Floyd Irvin Pippin was born on January 23, 1919, in Washington County, Virginia; he was the son of John Lee Pippin (1896-1956) and Mamie Myrtle Kennedy
(1900-1988). Floyd married Evelyn Virginia McGuire at the Methodist Church in Scottsville, Albemarle County, Virginia, on 25 April 1946. Floyd passed
away on December 24, 1959, in Scottsville, Fluvanna County, Virginia, and is buried in the Scottsville Cemetery.

SCOTTSVILLE--Floyd Irvin Pippin, 40, died unexpectedly Thursday at his home at Scottsville. He was an automobile mechanic at Wilhoit Motors
in Charlottesville.
He was born in Washington County, Virginia, Jan. 23, 1919, son of Mrs. Mamie Kennedy Pippin of Scottsville and the late John Lee Pippin.
Besides his mother, he is survived by his wife, Mrs. Evelyn McGuire Pippin; a daughter, Miss Linda Lee Pippin of Scottsville; and two sisters,
Mrs. Roy C. Hammer of Scottsville and Mrs Johnny Reynolds of Richmond.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. today at Thacker Brothers Funeral Home of Scottsville with burial in the Scottsville Cemetery.
