Use, Reproduction, and Publication of Materials
The materials on Scottsville Museum's website have been made available for use in research, teaching, and private study. For these purposes you may reproduce (print, make photocopies, or download) materials from this website without prior permission, on the condition that you provide proper attribution of the source in all copies (see How to Cite Materials from Scottsville Museum).
Issues of copyright, donor restrictions, privacy and publicity, trademarks and licensing, and Scottsville Museum policy may affect the reproduction and use of images located in our digital archives. Patrons requesting copies or seeking authorization to use images are required to describe the intended use on an agreement form (see Agreement for Use of Photographs and Digital Images from Scottsville Museum's Archives). This form also defines the conditions under which authorization for use is granted.
Scottsville Museum reserves the right to refuse to accept a duplication request if, in its judgment, fulfillment of the request would involve violation of copyright law.
