Lynwood Waddell Robinson was born on January 14, 1909, in Albemarle County, Virginia; he was the son of Albert Robinson (1861-1924) and Edmonia Maria (Gardner) Robinson (1875-1928).  In the 1910-1920 U.S. Federal Census, Lynwood was living in Scottsville, Albemarle County, Virginia, with his parents and siblings.  On June 22, 1930, Lynwood married Estella Wells in Charlottesville, Virginia; Estella (Wells) Robinson had passed away by 1937.  Lynwood married secondly Nellie Freamond in Staunton, Virginia, on October 7, 1937, and Nellie Robinson passed away prior to 1946,  Lynwood then married Eleanor Frances Smith on January 26, 1946, in Charlottesville, Virginia.  Lynwood passed away on March 5, 1975, in Charlottesville, Virginia, and he is buried at the New Green Mountain Baptist Church Cemetery in Esmont.
