Comments:  Virginia Steger graduated from Scottsville High School in 1929.  Her father was Robert Steger, a Scottsville barber.  The family lived in an apartment over the Harris Building until it burned in 1925; they next lived on a houseboat in the James River until moving to Texas in 1930.
